Terms of Use
Effective November 8, 2026. Written for this product specifically, in plain language, with the non-affiliation limits stated where they belong - up front rather than buried.
1. What you are agreeing to
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of ASVAB Pilot covering this website (ASVAB Pilot marketing pages and free practice) and the mobile application. Using either means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service - there is no hidden clause you can only discover by signing up.
2. We are not the ASVAB
This is the part most worth reading twice.
- ASVAB is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Defense. We use the name only to describe what our product helps you prepare for.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorised by the Department of Defense, any military service, the Military Entrance Testing Command, or any official test administrator.
- No content here is reproduced from the official test. Every question, passage and explanation is written for this product.
- Our reports are accuracy on our own items. They are not official scores, and they do not predict official scores, eligibility, or qualification for any job.
- Only the official administrator and your service recruiter can tell you what your actual scores mean.
3. The service, as it is today
Version 1 is free: every published question pack, timed practice section and report is available without payment, and there are no in-app purchases in this version. A paid pass may be introduced later; if it is, its price, duration, renewal behaviour, and how to cancel or restore it will be stated in the app before anything is charged, and the store you bought from will govern that purchase.
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise an uptime percentage. Content changes constantly: items get corrected, retired, and new ones get published, so the mix of questions you see will differ between sessions.
4. Your account
You may use the app as a guest. If you register, you are responsible for keeping access to the sign-in method you chose, and for activity under your account. Give us a real email if you use code sign-in - it is the only route back to your progress and the only channel we can reach you on.
5. What you may not do
The rules exist to protect the thing that makes this product worth building: the question bank.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, mirror, resell, republish or redistribute our questions, passages, explanations or reports, whether by automated means or by copy-paste into another product or study site. Personal study notes you write for yourself are fine.
- Do not reverse-engineer the app or the API, forge device identifiers, or attempt to obtain answer keys for timed mock sessions before submitting them. Grading a mock on the server is precisely what makes the result mean something; trying to bypass it is the one abuse we actively look for.
- Do not use automated accounts or scripts to inflate content-quality statistics or feedback.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not send personal data you would not want associated with a support ticket.
- You keep the right to criticise the product publicly. We would prefer you also told us first.
6. Your content and our content
Our questions, wording, explanations, figures and site design are ours, licensed to you for personal, non-commercial study while you use the service. Your learning data is yours: you can export it or delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy, and deleting your account deletes the history.
If you report an error in a question, you grant us the right to use that report to fix and improve the item. We do not publish your message with your identity attached.
7. No guarantee of results
Studying here should improve your familiarity with the skills the ASVAB measures. It cannot guarantee a score, eligibility, a job, a bonus, or a contract. Test formats, item counts, time limits, minimum scores and line-score formulas change; anything we state about the official test is our best current reading of public information, verified before each release, and is not authoritative.
If you are making an enlistment decision, the governing documents are the official ones and the contract your recruiter presents - not this app.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service is error-free: with a bank of this size, some items will have a debatable answer, and we rely on users telling us so we can fix and version them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or any consequence of relying on the service - including a decision made about enlisting. If liability is ever established notwithstanding the above, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts may not apply to you.
10. Termination
You can stop any time and delete your account from the app. We may suspend or end access if you break section 5, if we are required to by law, or if the service is discontinued. If we shut the product down, we will say so in the app and give you a way to remove your data rather than letting the service rot quietly.
11. Third parties
The app links to the Apple App Store and, when the listing goes live, Google Play; those stores provide the download and any future purchase, and their terms and privacy policies govern that interaction. Sign-in with Apple or Google is governed by those identity providers too. We are not responsible for their services.
12. Changes, and how to reach us
We update these terms as the product changes; material revisions get a new effective date on this page and, where a change affects what you may do, a note in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
These terms are governed by the law of the operator's principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have venue. Nothing here stops you from exercising non-waivable consumer rights where you live.
Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Error reports about specific questions: the support page is the fastest route, and the form there tells you exactly what to include.
The three sentences that matter most
- Independent prep app. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense.
- Our practice results are accuracy on our own questions, never an official or predicted score.
- Do not scrape or republish the question bank; do not try to obtain mock answer keys before submitting.
See also the Privacy Policy, which describes exactly what data these terms give us permission to hold.
